It's a new year and time for us to discuss new interior design trends. 2019 is going to be a very exciting year for home decor, chock full of new design concepts. One emerging shift in the market is transitioning away from exhausted, cool gray tones in favor of warmer neutral tones. Gray-Beiges or what we like to call "greiges" feel fresh and leading edge design publications and designers like us are advocating for them with our clientele. Here are two examples of how you can incorporate and compliment the greige neutral trend in your home.
For our new home construction project in Spring Valley Village we chose Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter HC-172 for the perimeter kitchen cabinets as an alternative to a cool tone gray. We love how the color of the cabinets plays off the veining in the Calacatta countertop. We completed the look with warm bronze pendants over the kitchen island from Visual Comfort. For another new home construction project in The Heights, we chose Sherwin Williams Functional Gray SW 7024 for the daughter's bedroom. We love how this color interacts with the walnut stain of the exposed beams and the soft pink chosen for the custom headboard.
